The Outpost: two levels of outdoor living, framed in steel

October 31, 2026

The Outpost two-story steel deck

The Outpost™ is a two-story steel deck: a lounge deck above and an open or canvas-enclosed level below. Set it beside any Mytikas cabin, or let it stand alone as a glamping suite. It comes in two sizes, from $42,500, and arrives fully assembled.

Two sizes

Footprint 10 × 12 ft 10 × 20 ft
Area 240 sq ft over two levels 400 sq ft over two levels
Stairs Full staircase Landing and full staircase at the rear

What is included

  • Steel at all four corners with side reinforcement, and steel joists on both levels
  • TimberTech composite decking, Class A fire-rated
  • An upper deck engineered to carry a hot tub
  • A waterproof layer beneath the upper deck, so the lower level stays dry
  • Delivery fully assembled and ready to use
  • A 10-year warranty on the steel structure, stairs, railings and decking

A canvas enclosure for the lower level is $2,500 on Standard and $4,250 on Expanded: premium duck cloth canvas that is waterproof, fire-resistant and rugged. The hot tub and furnishings are yours to choose and are not included.

Three ways to use it

Beside a cabin. Put the view upstairs. The Outpost adds a second outdoor room without touching the cabin's footprint.

As a glamping suite. Enclose the lower level in canvas and it sleeps four or eight on its own, with a private deck above.

As an amenity. A hot tub deck, a lookout or a shaded gathering space that a resort can place wherever the land is best.

What is coming

Two of the products now in design at our factory are made to pair with it: the Mytikas Sauna, matched to fit on top of or underneath The Outpost, and the Mytikas Golf Simulator, a reimagined one-story version. Join the waitlist to hear first.

Questions we hear

Can the upper deck really hold a hot tub? Yes. It is engineered to carry one.

Does the lower level stay dry? Yes. A waterproof layer sits beneath the upper deck.

Does it need a cabin next to it? No. It can stand alone.

Is it covered by a warranty? The steel structure, stairs, railings and decking are covered for ten years. The optional canvas enclosure has separate coverage.
